Born and raised in Auburn, Indiana, Delaney Finderson has spent much of her life developing the skills that would ultimately lead her to the legal profession. From academic achievement and public speaking competitions to advocacy work and community service, she has always been driven by a desire to help others navigate challenges and achieve positive outcomes.
Delaney's connection to Finderson Law began long before she became an attorney. Having worked in nearly every position within the firm since 2016, she gained firsthand experience serving clients, supporting legal staff, and learning the day-to-day realities of legal practice. That unique journey provides her with a perspective few attorneys possess.
Today, Delaney represents clients in Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, Adoption, and Estate Planning matters while remaining committed to her personal mission of making a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families she serves.
Delaney's journey at Finderson Law began long before she attended law school or passed the bar examination. In the summer of 2016, she joined the firm as an administrative assistant, helping with client correspondence, filing, and day-to-day office support. What started as an opportunity to learn more about the legal profession quickly became a passion for helping others through some of life's most challenging situations.
Over the next several years, Delaney worked in a variety of roles throughout the firm, including Receptionist, Medical Records Specialist, Adoption Paralegal, and Legal Clerk. Each position provided a unique perspective on how legal matters impact clients and their families. From answering phones and scheduling appointments to gathering medical records and assisting with case preparation, this firsthand experience guided her today.
By the time Delaney became an attorney in 2024, she had already spent nearly a decade learning the profession from the ground up. That experience continues to shape her approach to practicing law today. Having worked closely with clients throughout every stage of the legal process, she understands the importance of communication, compassion, and practical guidance. Her journey through the firm provides a perspective few attorneys possess and reinforces her commitment to serving every client with professionalism and respect.
Delaney focuses her practice on helping individuals and families navigate important legal matters involving workplace injuries, personal injury claims, adoption, and estate planning. Having spent years working in nearly every role within the firm before becoming an attorney, she understands both the legal process and the importance of keeping clients informed every step of the way.
Whether assisting an injured worker, helping a family grow through adoption, or guiding clients through estate planning decisions, Delaney is committed to providing personalized legal representation focused on practical solutions and meaningful results.

Throughout law school and her legal training, Delaney developed a strong interest in legal research, advocacy, and public policy. Her academic writing reflects a commitment to exploring complex legal issues while seeking practical solutions that benefit individuals, families, and communities.
Outside of the office, Delaney enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her dachshund, Pepper. She has always had a passion for creativity and enjoys ceramics, painting, reading, and working on puzzles whenever she has free time.
She also enjoys playing softball, occasionally umpiring games, and staying active in her community. Delaney hopes to travel more throughout her life while continuing to build meaningful relationships with family and friends.
One of the things Delaney values most about Finderson Law is the people she works alongside every day. Reflecting on the relationships she has built over the years, Delaney says, "I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. They've been there for nearly every important milestone in my life, from weddings and graduations to community events and fundraisers." The strong bonds shared within the firm continue to make Finderson Law a place where she feels supported, encouraged, and inspired to serve others.
One of the causes closest to her heart is serving as a Guardian Ad Litem, helping ensure children's voices are heard when they need an advocate. Whether inside or outside the courtroom, Delaney remains committed to helping others and making a positive impact wherever she can.
